How to start a plan in ePlan: make a project, then bring in the floorplan from a PDF, a photo, the camera or a 3D room scan, or draw the walls on a grid.
Drag symbols onto the plan from the palette's groups, then move, turn, resize, label and duplicate them, set the size of every symbol on the plan, and choose IEC or US drawings.
Draw wires from symbol to symbol with the Wire tool, put each wire on a circuit with the chips, route it through waypoints, erase a wire, and change a circuit later.
Use Test mode to find devices the wiring never reaches, flick the switches to see which lights come on, and read an indicative load for each circuit against its breaker.
Export a plan as a PDF or an image with its legend and title, at the plan's own shape or on A4 or US Letter, send it on, and invite teammates to edit the plan with you.
